As I meet kids in their 20’s and talk to them about buying a house, they tend to say “no way, I can’t afford a house”. “Kids” let’s be honest they’re adults, but I often see them as kids and so do they. Over the next three weeks, I’m going to share what I know about buying your first home and some of the things you should consider. Okay, are you ready for this journey? Very important! I’ll talk about some of the things you should look for when choosing a loan officer and the questions you should ask. Your credit score is also important. If you don’t know your score you should! Afraid it won’t be as good as it needs to be? Don’t worry, it’s probably better than you think and there are things you can do to improve your score.
